Can I play a double-three here?

Does a line of six win?
Yes. Five or more consecutive stones of one color in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line wins here, including an overline of six or more. A gap breaks the line. Stones are not captured or removed.
How is Renju different?
Renju restricts Black’s overlines, double-fours and certain double-threes to balance the first-player advantage. Two apparent threes do not automatically mean a forbidden move: whether they can legally become open fours matters. White does not have the same restrictions. Gomokuking currently has no Renju mode or forbidden-move judge.
What should I check before moving?
First look for your own immediate five. If none exists, find the opponent’s immediate winning point. Do not ignore an opponent’s double-three as illegal in freestyle. Try an easy AI game, then replay the position where you missed a threat.
